Mech Mice Update: FrankenBug + Founders Units

There had been some updates on Mech Mice! Here's Mech Moose pointing them out:
We need your help to test one of our most challenging levels yet – level 2-4! In this epic boss battle, Dusty is introduced to one of the Dark Union’s cruel experiments – FrankenBug. Our Level Designer, Cody made sure this level was extra difficult (big surprise) – good luck!
FrankenBug
FrankenBug is a modified Large Bug that the Dark Union has been experimenting on. Since it’s not a finished unit, it has no primary gun, and it’s armour plating is not complete – revealing the somewhat disturbing flesh and circuits underneath.
As you know, Mech Mice officially launches in less than two weeks, which means that the beta test will be coming to an end. We understand that a lot of you are concerned about the Founder Units not being unlocked in time. Well, the team has thought long and hard about this, and we’ve decided to unlock them all for you!
FounderUnits
As a Founder, you will now be able to use ALL of these units in Adventure Mode when the game launches on October 8th. Consider it a thank-you gift for supporting Mech Mice!

This means all the units are unlocked! Hooray! So, what are you waiting for? Jump in the game and test out this brand new boss battle! Also, if you have any tips on how to beat FrankenBug, leave a comment here.

Beta Update: Boss Battle + Camera Controls

The Team has just released a few updates on Mech Mice. Here's the full post of Mech Moose explaining the updates:
The team just launched level 1-4 for everyone to play. In this level, Blaze and Flank battle the very first Mech Mice boss – Frenzy!
Level1-4
The idea behind the encounter is that Frenzy is crazy powerful – he has lots of health, does high damage, and moves incredibly fast. But his weakness is that he’s not entirely in control of his actions. As such his moves are predictable and can “miss”.
We also launched an update to the camera controls to make them easier to use. Press the ‘C’ key to activate these controls and W’, ‘A’, ‘S’, ‘D’ to use them.
Sounds cool! Mech Mice officially launches in October 8, are you excited?

Beta Update: Special Abilities

The Mech Mice Team has yet again hit the live button on many awesome updates! Here's the full post:

UPDATE #1: Special Abilities
Special abilities for Flank and Blaze have now been released. These epic abilities add a new level of fun to the first chapter. Here’s a closer look at what they look like:
Flank’s Doom Spin
DoomSpin
Blaze’s Dash n’ Smash
DashSmash
UPDATE #2: Developer Hacks
After a few team discussions, we have decided to unlock a few awesome features that, until now, only the studio had access to.
1. Camera Controls
All Beta Testers now have full access to the camera controls. To turn on and off these controls, press the ‘C’ key on your keyboard. Once the controls are activated, use the ‘W’, ‘A’, ‘S’, ‘D’ keys and your mouse to move the camera around. To reset the camera controls, simply press the ‘C’ key again. Keep in mind that the controls haven’t been perfected quite yet so it’ll take some time to get used to.
2. Speed Controls
That’s right, we’ve given you all the ability to play Mech Mice in fast and slow motion. We use fast motion to speed up the testing process and slow motion because it’s freaking awesome and epic! Press ‘F’ to activate fast motion and ‘G’ to activate slow motion.
These controls will only be available during the beta test. With great controls comes great responsibility. I expect to see some epic, cinematic YouTube videos come out of this. If you make some, make sure you post them in the comments! :D
UPDATE #3: Level 2-3

Founders now have access to level 2-3. In this level, Dusty sneaks into the Dark Union base to rescue Torq, the Engineer! Cody did a great job at making this level extra difficult. TIP: watch out for those spy bugs.
Level2-3
You’ll also notice that we’ve also added more special effects, like explosions and particle effects. What are you waiting for? Jump in the game and let us know what you think!

Trailer #3 – Meet the Mech + OFFICIAL Launch Date!!

Mech Mice has released the 3rd trailer and this time, Colonel Black introduces Torq, the Engineer and Betsay, the Mech. You can watch the previous trailer here.

Torq is a notoriously unconventional engineer – considered by many to be a mouse with a screw loose. Bubbly, a tad manic and blessed with a relentless curiosity, she is a blunt bundle of energy with a devil-may-care attitude and no concept of personal space. Although a bit rough around the edges, she has a big heart, and is known for her unique brand of homespun wisdom. She likes to name all her tools – her wrench’s name is Charlene.

The Mech’s are the most prized technological marvels of this world. The units come in all sorts of shapes and configurations. Hand-crafted by artisan-engineers, each Mech is custom made for its driver. When you hear the WIZZ-KACHUNK KACHUNKKAACHUNK! crashing through the underbrush, it can only mean one thing: it is on!

The word is out – the official launch date for Mech Mice has been confirmed for October 8th. That means there’s only a month left to take part in the beta test. If you or your friends haven’t joined the beta yet – remember that you get a free, exclusive Beta Unit for your squad. As soon as we go live, the Beta Unit will never be available again – spread the word!

Sneak Peek: Mechs

It's Monday! And Mech Moose introduces us on one of the coolest Mech Mice Units - the Mech.

Mechs are armored vehicles that are all about massive firepower.

MechSneakPeek1

Mech stats:

Combat: Amazing! No unit is as effective as a mech.
Base health: Extremely high, but fragile because only an engineer can repair a mech (healing flowers have no effect on a machine).
Movement Range: 2.
Primary attack: Rapid fire, anti-bug suppressors.
Special ability: Extremely high damaging missiles.
Cons: Requires an engineer to repair it when it gets damaged. Low movement range.

The Mech will be first introduced in Level 2-4. This level should be released to Founders in the next few weeks.
